Commented Issue: The Selected component could not be browsed [16187]

Following the video for adding touchless to my project, I got to Object browser, Browse to "custom component set" and click on the ... to edit custom component set. I am able to add the TouchlessLib but am unable to add WebCamLib.dll
I get an error message saying "The Selected component could not be browsed" with the path to where the file "IS" located.
I have tried downloaded the touchless SDK again, still with no luck.
Can anyone please help?

Respected All,

I liked this library as we can easily track the marker on screen.
I require a little help regarding the appearance of the Marker on screen. I want to write a code like, when the marker will be appeared on the screen, one bull variable will show "true" and when the marker will be disappeared from the screen, the variable will show "false".
I've tried to figure out this issue but I can't.
Please help me regarding this..

Hi,

We have successfully implemented the Touchless SDK in our VB.NET 2010 application and it runs fine under Windows 7. Running on Windows 8 Pro on a tablet, however, we do see some issues. For some reason the webcam does not unload correctly, this causes subsequent problems accessing the webcam in general. Even 3rd party programs that use the webcam fail after using our program once.

Is there a way to actually close the Webcam?

Ahhhh.... we used disposed, that solved the problem.

I know that we have found the solution to the issue ourselves, but.... I feel that we would all be helped by some documentation..

Although we seem to have fixed this in the coding, I feel that it would be good to have a method to colse the camera explicitly.

In essence, the problem is that the webcam does not seem to close correctly. After tunning the program once, sometimes twice, the Webcam becomes unavailable.

Hope you all will be doing good. I am trying to use a method from Touchless to add markers same as in TouchlessDemo application. I am trying continuely but all in vain. I dont know the actual parameters to be passed. Any help about the details of the parameters and how i could use it would be highly appreciated.

I appreciate so much your contribution. I'd be very interested in getting a multi-camera application, maybe you can help me :)

Would you mind sending me an example application in C# where I can use more than one camera simultaneously? I'm not very familiar to the "low level" functions like DirectShow... I'd be nice to have a MainForm where I can see how to manage all the cameras.

I had the same issue before under release.
So I have changed platform from Win32 to x64 for WebCamLib project and recomplited the solution. For other two C# project I use Any CPU.
It works fine after that.

I've been evaluating the Touchless SDK for webcam image capture since we are looking for a camera-agnostic software interface. Some of our customers want to be able to take images of documents. While Touchless allows us to capture a larger image the clarity of the image isn't there. Is there any way to improve the clarity or sharpness of the image captured?
